Wardrobe details / Inlay options

Make the detail your own.

We can add a slim inlay design to bespoke wardrobe doors for a more tailored finish. At Wells Lane in Ascot, the inlay frames Light Grey Chicago Concrete fronts throughout a full-house installation.

Materials & finishes

The right material for the right detail.

We work with a range of boards and timber finishes. The choice depends on how the piece will be used, the look you want and the project specification.

01 / MFC

Melamine faced chipboard

A practical, consistent board available in a wide range of colours and wood effects.

02 / MDF

MDF

A versatile base for clean, detailed joinery and painted finishes.

03 / VENEER

Real timber veneers

The natural grain and character of timbers such as oak and walnut, paired with a suitable board core.

04 / PLYWOOD

Birch ply

A considered option when the layered edge and warm timber appearance are part of the design.

We can talk through samples and finishes as part of your project.

Client reviews

In their own words.

From the first ideas to the finished fit, here’s what our clients have said about working with us.

“Great experience with Terry and his team. The project was finished on time and to a great standard. We have used TJW before and will use them again.”

Adam PriceWells Lane, AscotSee the project

“We had an awkward sloping ceiling that standard furniture couldn’t accommodate. The team designed a built-in walk-in wardrobe that maximises every inch of vertical space. Great service!”

“Amazing experience. We had no idea what we wanted in terms of design, and Terry walked us through various options from his portfolio. He took the lead and delivered a wonderful installation. Five stars!”
