Who we are

TJW Carpentry & Joinery Ltd is responsible for the information you provide to us. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 14621756. Our registered office is 20 Lightwater Meadow, Lightwater, Surrey GU18 5XH. For privacy questions, email info@tjwcarpentryandjoinery.co.uk.

Information we receive

When you call, email or WhatsApp us, we may receive your name, contact details, address, project photographs, measurements and anything else you choose to share. This site has no enquiry form.

How we use it

We use those details to reply to your enquiry, discuss your project, arrange a visit, prepare a quote and, if you choose to proceed, plan and deliver the work. We may keep project and payment records where needed for our business and legal obligations. Our basis for handling an enquiry is our legitimate interest in responding to it; for agreed work, it is the steps needed to enter into and perform our contract with you.

Who can access it

Relevant members of the TJW team may see project details. We may share details with suppliers or specialist subcontractors where needed for your project, and with professional advisers or authorities where required. If you contact us through WhatsApp, email or Instagram, those services handle information under their own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and any follow-up. For completed work, we keep the records needed for servicing the project, accounting and legal requirements, then delete or securely dispose of them when they are no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain uses. Some rights depend on the circumstances and we may need to keep certain records for legal reasons. Contact us at info@tjwcarpentryandjoinery.co.uk. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

About this website

Our website has no enquiry form. We offer optional Google Analytics to help us understand how many people visit, which pages they view and how they found the site. Google Analytics is only loaded if you select “Accept analytics” on our website. It may then use cookies and collect details such as page views, approximate location, device and browser information. Google processes this data on our behalf. We use these reports to improve the website; we do not use this tag for advertising personalisation. You may reject analytics or change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting analytics does not stop you using the site. Your preference is saved in your browser; if you withdraw consent, we stop analytics and remove the Google Analytics cookies that we can access. Essential technical data may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the site. See Google’s privacy policy for more about Google’s processing.
